Posts: 30 08/20/09 10:06:22	Tags : None about 4 weeks ago, I only did it for about 2 weeks and ran out (they say bc he was so early my milk hadn't come in) - anyway... how long before you start your period after you stop breastfeeding? Guess I'm just worried because I went to get a IUD and the Dr. told me to call her when I started which should be soon - so she could make sure I wasnt pregnant before she put it in. My husband and I have been having sex, unprotected however he has pulled out (tmi sorry) everytime. So im not THAT worried how long should it be til i start?

Posts: 4280 08/20/09 10:21:43	Erica, hate to say it but the pull out method is SO not effective. Did you know that some of those spermies can escape before the pull out? Just FYI, for the future. Everyone is different as far as when their period returns but from what I've read it seems between 4 and 8 weeks is the average.
