I got a tiny gift bag and put a tiny pair of baby booties inside, tissue paper and all! I just called him to sit at the table with me and said I got you something and placed the bag in front of him and he opened it and immediately asked, YOUR PREGNANT??? lol, he loved it How did you/will you tell other people? I had my 3 year old daughter Melinda blurt it out over and over to my parents---she said---I'm going to be a big sister!!! She had to say it 3 different times within a ten minute period before they finally got it! The in laws----My husband has a Screen Printing company so we printed a T shirt that said I'm going to be a big sister for Melinda to wear, we ordered in the wrong size shirt by accident so it was huge on her, so we just changed her at some point and she ran into the living room and said Ta Da!!!! And they were like ohhh you have a new shirt lets see what it say---ohhhh your going to be a big sister---how Nice-------Then it hit them and they were like WHAAATTT???? Birthday? October 30, 1975 Married or Single? Married to my high school sweetheart. State you live in? Orlando Florida Favorite color? No real favorite Favorite food? NY Pizza, cereal, crabs Least favorite food? Corned Beef Is this your first time being prego? If not, tell us about your other children. Melinda was born on New Years eve 2005 just 2 minutes before bringing in 2006. We missed out on a $25,000 savings bond for college and diapers and formula for a year by 2 minutes lol! I was in labor for 3 days over 60 hours but it was great. Most of it was at home until the last 18 hours in the hospital. All natural, I worked with my labor and I did not fear it! I trusted my body to do what God intended and designed it to do. In the end my contractions were still only at every 5 minutes so If I would have known the time Yes! I would of tried to wait to push, at least try...lol. We did get to write her off in our taxes at least. Do you want a boy or girl? I would love a boy, I've kinda always pictured Melinda with a sister, but now that I'm preggo I'm feeling like It may be a boy, lets see if I'm right. The chinese calendar predicts a boy...lol, it was right with Melinda. So we will see! Will you find out the gender of your baby? Yes and I can't wait! Whats your favorite thing to do to destress ?? Shower, get a message, and HELLO!!!! Favorite music? I like it all, but mainly Hip Hop and R&B What do you think you will like most about being pregnant? Not worrying too much about a big belly! What do you think you will hate about being pregnant? The discomfort. I'm having a bit more of it early on compared to my first pregnancy. I swear I didn't feel like this until I was 6 months. Have you decided how you are decorating the baby's room? Not yet but been trying to figure it out. Are you planning to go natural or do you want drugs? So far Natural, but we will see, I'm open to the options. Any names chosen yet? None yet. Your occupation? Radio Personality at Mix 105.1 and I do sales for my Husbands company What do you do for fun? I like to go out with my friends to the clubs (just a few times a year nowadays) I like to scrapbook and chill at home with the family, I like to do just fun family stuff, name it, I've done it all!!! So we have safe days and unsafe days. He keeps track of those safe days since he doesnt like to use protection. ( Ive been using this method for 4 years and 5 months so he's used to it) So I was getting a little worried when I thought it was time for period. I asked him when it should be here. He said between the 10 and 20th. So on the 19th I asked him what he thought and he said I was pregnant. I went and took a test and sure enough he was right! ( I was very sick with the stomach virus twice last month and that is what messsed me up with keeping track of my days! ) How did you/will you tell other people? I called my mom and my closest friends on the phone. Birthday? Sept 27, Married or Single? married State you live in? SC Favorite color? Pink Favorite food? Dec 29-New years How did you tell your significant other about your pregnancy? I was a little in shock my self when i saw a positive test since it was a major surprise. I was told that it was unlikely for me to have children and my Fiance was told he couldn't at all. Well I got news for them lol. Also it was a new med i was put on for pain that canceled everything out and made it possible, safe to say it was meant to happen lol. So i walked in the room pal faced and shocked and said well hun your going to be a daddy We are both thrilled ^.^ How did you/will you tell other people? LOL it was the week before mother's day and 4 tests later when i told my mother. I said hey mom, you want your mother's day gift now or later??? She looked at me with this blank look on her face and said why whats up? Well, your going to be a grandmother. She said What your pregnant i said well i think so i took four test and got 4 positives lol. She called everyone that day lol. So everyone knew right away lol Birthday? April, 1981 Married or Single? Engaged. Do you want a boy or girl? Girl. Will you find out the gender of your baby? Yes. Whats your favorite thing to do to destress ?? Crafts , play games. She kicks so hard even before i was supposed to see and feel her move i could. Even see her move through my skin at 10 weeks, her doc was even impressed. He actually made me take the test because I'd been abnormally moody. I didn't think I was pregnant and so when it came back positive it was me that was shocked not him lol. How did you/will you tell other people? We told his parents first, and then for easter we gave his grandma a card from the baby so after she found out his whole side of the family knew. I told my mom first who then proceeded to tell the whole family. And we took all of our friends out to dinner one night to celebrate one of their college graduations and we told all of them at once. (I had been trying to talk him into having another baby for 4 years.... we decided against itwhen my dad got sick again in feb)....he just smiled!! i had to tell the girls when i was 7 weeks cos i was so sick and tired that my eldest girl thought i was sick like her grandad.. she was scared..now she's thrilled....!!!! How did you/will you tell other people? told my dad first, he's really unwell with liver lung and gland cancer.. thought it would cheer him up, he was so surprised he told everyone else...
