I had a baby last June and decided that I wanted to stay at home with him. My husband and I were having a hard time letting go of my teaching salary and going to just one income. I started looking around for something to do from home so that I could supplement his income. I am now working from home and making money.....but not a TON of money. There are a lot of scams that say that you can make like $3,000 a week. This is not a "get rich quick" thing. There is a lot of potential for growth and I eventually will be making enough to replace what I was making as a full-time teacher. It will take me about 1 1/2 years to reach that point...but hey, it's worth it to me to be able to stay at home. Some people in this business make way more money faster than me.....it depends on how much time you put into it. However, few people work more than 25 hours a week.
