I like: Science, psychology, music, children's advocacy and related political issues, animal rescue, human rights, gardening and trees, green/frugal living, outdoor stuff, reading, writing, cooking, laundry, sports, people-watching, organization and spending time alone staring into space.

I don't like: Seafood, clutter, chicken-soup type inspirational "stuff," forwarded emails, insincerity, affectations, resistance to change/staleness, the idea that you can know a religious purpose for/behind everything (because you know the mind of the Lord, of course) and touching public things like shopping carts/bathrooms/door handles.

I am currently reading: Lots of books about wisdom.

My latest projects: Going to school,  working, living more for less, encouraging my son's developing speech, school group stuff. 

I am looking for these recipes: Appetizers for the crock pot or fridge that can be taken to meetings. 

What's going on this fall: Broncos games with friends, walks, my son's horseback riding lessons.
