Welcome to the Parenthood Community Center. As manager of content and community here, I hope to get to know you all through your photos, videos and blogs. I've been here at Parenthood.com for 7 years.

Outside of my job here at Parenthood, I'm a parent of 3 grown kids, have 3 grandchildren (3, 12 and 16). All of them will make appearances in the photos below. I've also got 2 English setters, 10-year-old Sophy, and a new puppy Rory, who was born in Aug. '09.

Every day, my email brings me lots of news about resources and products that may be of interest to our Parenthood readers.  I'll be using my blog to pass on these info bits to you and also to keep you up to date on product recalls and safety alerts, health news and guidelines that we hear about from the Centers for Disease Control and other professional organizations.

To anyone who reads this -- I'd love to hear from you about what you like and what you don't in this community. And if you've got a great idea for a group, or a special talent you'd like to share with us on video or in a blog -- bring it on!
