New non-profit Diabetes Resource, need feedback from parents.

I am working with a non-profit that created a new diabetes resource site at www.diabetesactnow.org. The site is both children and family friendly featuring mostly videos on a variety of topics including answers to general questions and tips on how to manage diabetes. Great Warning Story

These kinds of stories always serve as a great warning. So many obese people seem to get bonded to objects like beds and chairs. :-( Sad. Story here. Is it me or is it sad that he died of the "sin" of gluttony while preaching away on the internet?

eating wild mushrooms

Every once in a while there is a story like this in California... usually immigrants are involved. They see mushrooms growing that look similar to something they had back home and so they eat it. But their poinsonous! I don't think I can count the number of times I have seen this and often it is families of asian or island descent, such as the Phillipines. Sad story.

Story here. For whatever reason I am drawn to these stories. It challenges so many beliefs about abortion, what is life, what/who has a soul, etc. Chimerism is especially interesting... that is two babies merge and grow into one human that may not even know they are fused twins, yet the genetic material proves it.
