This recipe always comes out, like clockwork, every time! During the holidays, try serving slices or chunks of fresh home made bread with your dips... instead of the expected (and sometimes boring) crackers and chips. Breadmakers take all of the hard work out of baking, and leave your family with all of the taste, care and warmth that home made bread brings.
For 1.5 lb. Loaf
1 cup plus 2 tbsp water (always just warmer than room temp!)
2 tsp olive oil
3-1/4 cups flour
1 tbsp sugar
1-1/2 tsp salt
1-3/4 tsp bread machine yeast
Place ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed. Plug in and turn on the breadmaker. Select the French or European cycle. You might also have to select the crust color according to your brand of breadmaker. Medium works pretty well. Let it go until it beeps at you that it's done!
